Privacy Policy
Beton Football Balance is an offline-first football companion that helps you book pitches, organize matches, and build balanced teams with friends. This Privacy Policy describes what information Beton Football Balance developed by fattyrobo ("we," "us," or "our") handles when you use the Beton Football Balance mobile application (the "App") and the companion website at soccer2042.click. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
1. We Collect Only What We Need
The App is designed to keep almost everything on your device. The list below covers what is generated, sent, or stored when you use it.
Anonymous Identifier and Device Language
The first time you open the App, it generates a random anonymous identifier and stores it on your device. We also detect your device's language and region setting so the App and notifications can be shown in your preferred language. The anonymous identifier is not linked to your name, email, or any personal account.
Advertising ID and Attribution
We work with AppsFlyer, a mobile measurement service, to understand how players discover Beton Football Balance and which marketing campaigns are working. The following information is collected for this purpose:
- Google Advertising ID — a resettable identifier provided by Google Play Services
- Attribution source — for example, whether you arrived from an ad network or organic search
- Campaign name — the marketing campaign that led to your installation
- Install referrer — how you reached the Google Play listing
- AppsFlyer installation identifier
Your anonymous identifier (described above) is also shared with AppsFlyer alongside this attribution data. AppsFlyer additionally collects standard device information such as IP address, device model, and operating system version as part of its service.
You can reset or limit your Advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads. AppsFlyer's full privacy practices are described here: https://www.appsflyer.com/legal/privacy-policy/.
Push Notifications
The App uses Google Firebase to send push notifications about important updates, new features, and reminders. To deliver these messages, a unique push notification token is generated for your device, and the App subscribes to notification topics based on your device's language. Notification content is shown to you on the device and is not stored by the App.
Push notifications are completely optional. On Android 13 and later, the App asks for permission the first time, and you can deny or revoke that permission at any time in your device settings. As part of providing this service, Google Firebase collects standard device telemetry (device model, OS version, app version, and an installation identifier) — see Firebase's privacy documentation.
Built-in Browser
The App includes a built-in browser used to display this Privacy Policy and the in-app Support page directly within Beton Football Balance. The built-in browser does not collect any additional personal data beyond what is described in this section. However, like any web browser, it supports cookies (including third-party cookies) and local storage for any websites loaded inside it. Those websites operate under their own privacy practices.
Local Match and Player Data
Your bookings, match history, players roster, team rosters, balance scores, and app preferences are stored locally on your device only. They are never uploaded to our servers and are not shared with any third party. Clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App will permanently remove this data.
Support and Bug Reports
If you reach out to us through the in-app Support page, you may choose to submit:
- Your name and email address
- A description of your question or the issue you encountered
- An optional file attachment — you can take a photo or video using your device's camera, or pick an existing screenshot, image, or document through your device's file picker
This information is sent only when you actively submit a support request and is used solely to respond to you and resolve the reported issue. The App itself does not request camera access — when you choose to capture a new photo or video, your device's built-in camera app handles that step independently.
Network Connections
Most network requests made by the App use encrypted HTTPS connections. A small number of internal connections may use plain HTTP, in which case the data exchanged is not encrypted in transit.
2. How We Use This Information
We use the limited information described above to:
- Run the App and keep it working properly on your device
- Show content and notifications in your language
- Measure marketing performance and understand how players discover the App
- Send optional push notifications you've agreed to receive
- Respond to support requests and bug reports
- Diagnose crashes and improve future versions
3. Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your personal information. The only third parties involved are the service providers needed to run the features above:
- AppsFlyer — mobile attribution and marketing analytics — Privacy Policy
- Google Firebase — push notification delivery — Privacy Policy
- Google Play Services — provides the Advertising ID — Privacy Policy
We may also disclose information when required to do so by law or to protect our legal rights.
4. Data Retention
Your matches, players, and preferences live on your device and remain there until you delete them or uninstall the App. The anonymous identifier persists until the App's data is cleared. The Google Advertising ID is managed by Google Play Services and can be reset by you at any time. Push notification tokens are managed by Google Firebase and refreshed periodically. Support emails you send us are kept only for as long as needed to resolve your request.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect data in transit and at rest. Most network traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, and on-device data is protected by the standard Android sandbox. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to use reasonable safeguards.
6. Your Rights and Controls
You're in control of your data at every step:
- Reset your Advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads
- Opt out of ad personalization using the same Android setting
- Disable push notifications in your device's notification settings
- Clear local data by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App — this also resets the anonymous identifier
- Request access to or deletion of any personal data you've sent us via support — just email us using the details below
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll do our best to let you know inside the App. Your continued use of Beton Football Balance after any update means you accept the revised policy.
